Yes, the console is not mandatory.
You get the same error through the admin console ? What error stack you get in the server.log ?

The default for S3 buckets and files is non-public. Earlier I tried setting the bucket as public, but still all new files in the bucket are not public. Only way around it might be changing the plugin using the AWS SDK, see https://forums.aws.amazon.com/thread.jspa?messageID=190170

Hi,

Thanks for putting together such detailed article.
Is there a way i can make sure all the uploads are publicly available.
I tried it but the final files are private so my build urls are not shared.
I could see the destination s3 bucket has all the read permissions.but sub-folders and files are throwing “Access Denied” error.

Yes, I have installed resource adapter and also copied the requreid files in the lib folder.

I am not sure deploying Active MQ web console in Glassfiosh is really mandatory activity?

We can run connect to Active MQ Web UI seperately, without glassfish?

Hi=)I’m such of idiot=)
If you are like me:

Your private key must be with alias “my.com” and your certificate from external service must be with alias “my.com”.

If you have exception like “…chain…” you forget to import “root” and other “stuff”certificates from external sites=)

Did you install the resource adapter first ?
Did you put all required lib files into the lib folder ?
I noticed with 5.8.0 there are some changes in the required libs (which I didnt require earlier for my 5.7.0 installation)

I am trying to integrate Active MQ with Glassfish Server.

I am following this link.

I get below error

Is there any solution to this problem?

Hello=)

I have a1sa alias in domain.xml. So i generete certificate like you (10.10….) with -alias s1as. Then i export this PrivateKeyEntry and make all like your manual.

Now i have exception:
java.io.IOException: SSL configuration is invalid due to No available certificate or key corresponds to the SSL cipher suites which are enabled.

So, second night i fight with glassfish, but still nothing.

Please, help!=)

I am facing the same requirement for a production system, secure webconsole and broker.
Trying to apply GF security with user realm for the webconsole.

The broker-config.xml is NOT read for embedded AMQ if you follow above tutorial.
Let me try too, you need to place sections in the ra.xml in order to configure through GF.

Will post another entry on this.

Hi, thanks for writing this guide. It was a big help in setting up the basic functionality.

Could you point me in the right direction in securing the embedded ActiveMQ? I’m trying to prevent users from queuing or consuming messages without a username/password. I’ve tried setting a UserName and Password property on the Resource Adapter Config, and also setup simpleAuthenticationPlugin in broker-config.xml. Neither seem to work, as anyone can still interact with the queue.

I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
